It was the largest failure in for-profit higher education. Senator Elizabeth Warren–who's known for fighting for students' rights when it comes to loans–questioned Dr. Albert C. Gray, president and CEO of the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Those are the guys who accredited Corinthian Colleges and allowed it to operate until the day it dramatically shut down.
