University Of Phoenix Partners With Good360 To Donate Technology To Nonprofits

University of Phoenix has forged a partnership with Good360 that will make it easier for the Phoenix-based school to donate refurbished technology to nonprofits nationwide.

While this deal comes at a time when UOP is closing 100 of its campuses nationwide, school officials say that’s not the reason the deal was solidified.

All campuses, whether they are closing or remaining open, will benefit from this new relationship with Good360, said Christopher Fielder, a spokesman for University of Phoenix.

“They will be better able to help us find local nonprofits in need and be able to have a more direct way to work with their network,” Fielder said.

As part of the deal for receiving these donated goods, nonprofits must dispose of the technology in a way that is compliant with all regulations and safest for the environment, Fielder said.
